Jim started
Homestead Timbers in his backyard.
In 1979 he purchased a used sawmill because his goal was to share his passion for wood with
others. There was no better way to do this than to guide
others in building a log home. Utilizing the
unique character touches that nature provides,
Homestead Timbers homes are truly an extension of
the outdoors.
No ordinary home, but homes with the “wow, look
at that” reaction. We stock burls – flared
root post – Y post – wide planks etc. to help you
build a home beyond your wildest dreams. Today Jim and his
professional staff share this passion.

Dan has been with Homestead Timbers since 1985 and
has hands on experience with all of our products.
He started peeling post and machining logs, to
making deliveries, to present day as a salesman
specializing in logs, siding, T&G lumber, railing,
flooring, and cabinetry. Dan, as well as any
other Homestead Timbers' team members, are more than
happy to assist you in achieving your log home
dream. |
